freeComics Widget

Version 1.5 (June 2009) - ALL comics are back, lots of NEW characters included, MORE than 150 strips supported!

Dilbert, Calvin & Hobbes, Garfield, B.C., Momma and dozens more are again available in freeComics, thanks to a huge redesign of the widget. The list of comics has been updated to include all the latest release: moreover, several all-time classics are now in full color.

A total of more than 150 strips immediately available in your Dashboard, including all the most famous characters, like Dilbert, Peanuts, Doonesbury, Garfield. freeComics will start from the last viewed comic, and will try to load the current strip, based on today's date: you can navigate thru dates using the arrows, within the maximum of 30 days of free availability. You can also go directly to selected comic official website.

Download and Install

Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger is required. If you’re using Safari, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget’s icon in the Widget Bar to open it. If you’re using a browser other than Safari, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, unarchive it and place it in /Library/Widgets/ in your home folder. show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget’s icon in the Widget Bar to open it.
